DIA's Advanced Pharmacovigilance Audits and Inspections course is a live virtual training delivered as five half-day sessions, , 1:00–5:30 p.m. Central European Time, built around the audit and inspection practice of pharmacovigilance systems.
Dates and format
- Dates: 2–6 November 2026 (Monday–Friday)
- Format: live virtual training, five half-day sessions
- Daily window: 1:00–5:30 p.m. Central European Time
- Organizer: Drug Information Association (DIA)
What it covers
The course works through pharmacovigilance audit and inspection practice: GVP Modules III (pharmacovigilance system master file) and IV (audits), how to plan an audit, overseeing affiliates and third parties, the reconciliation process between safety databases, computerised systems, and what inspection readiness looks like in practice. DIA positions the faculty as practitioners who conduct audits and take part in inspections themselves, sharing working tips rather than a purely regulatory-text reading of the modules.
Who should attend
Pharmacovigilance quality and compliance staff who run or commission PV audits, QPPVs and deputy QPPVs preparing for a regulator inspection, and regulatory affairs professionals who need to understand how GVP Module III/IV obligations are actually tested in practice rather than only on paper.
Building a paediatric development program instead? DIA's EMA Paediatric Investigation Plans course runs the same week, in person in Amsterdam. Preparing for a broader EU pharmacovigilance forum? HMA and EMA's EudraVigilance Signal Detection Forum follows in December. The full events directory lists everything we have verified.
